Ireland is famous for its spectacular scenery along its western coast. Touring the several peninsulas, with their "off the beaten track" narrow, winding roads, by car from the Bera Peninsula in the south west to the Donegal Peninsula in the northwesrern corner of Ireland, was a photographer's delight.

This small selection of images represents typical views along some of the peninsulas, including the Iveragh Peninsula (the Ring of Kerry and Valentia Island); the Dingle Peninsula, with spectacular views of Blasket Island and Slea Head with its steep fields which rise from the sea; Doolin and the Aran Islands; the Connemara with its unique landscape; and the Donegal Peninsula in the north west corner of Ireland.
